Talking is faster than typing.

Most people type about 40 words a minute, and talk at about 150.

Thanks for the notes. I read through them this morning and I think the plan works. Let's keep the launch on Thursday, move the review to Tuesday, and I'll write up the open questions tonight so nobody is blocked.

Questions.

Which websites does Glipsy work on?

Any website. Voice typing works in whatever text field has focus, and read aloud works on any text you select. DeepSeek, Kimi and T3 Chat get extra polish: a read-aloud button on every reply, and code blocks read out as words.

Does it work on Linux or a Chromebook?

Yes. Glipsy is a browser extension, so it runs wherever Chrome or Firefox runs: Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. There's no desktop app to install.

Is it free?

Free to start, with a one-time allowance of voice typing and read aloud to try it. Plus is $3 a month and Pro is $6 a month for more.

How do I start voice typing?

Click into any text field, double-tap Shift, talk, then double-tap Shift again. The text lands in the field with punctuation. No hotkey setup.

Where is my audio processed?

Recording only happens while you're dictating. The audio goes to Glipsy's servers for transcription and isn't kept longer than needed to return the text. It's never used to train AI models. More in the privacy policy.
